Dear members, JCC continues to be a dynamic networking organisation for young professionals between the ages 25-36. The main purpose of JCC is to give the members a platform for new business and social relations and to exchange knowledge about business in the Netherlands and of course have a good time doing so. JCC has got close to 100 members and we are very satisfied that we are continuously attracting new members looking to widen their network. The JCC committee has gone through organisational changes during the last month since committee member Jonas Gustavsson has resigned from his responsibilities. Jonas has accepted a new position within Eurocommercial Properties and will be relocated to Stockholm. On behalf of JCC I would like to thank Jonas for his energetic commitment and many contributions to JCC. JCC has elected Marcus Friberg, Financial accountant at EF Education, to replace Jonas as committee member. Marcus has many years of experience in event management and will be of great value to JCC. 2010 is a great year to be a member of the Swedish Chamber. The 50 year anniversary delivers several high quality events and presentations. President and CEO of Volvo Cars, Mr. Stephen Odell held a very interesting lunch presentation the week before Geely made their binding offer to buy Volvo Cars. In the event we had a high turn-up of JCC members whom also have shown great interest in the up coming presentation from Mr. Torsten Jansson, Managing Director and CEO New Wave Group. I would like to take this opportunity to give thanks and appreciation to the Board of the Swedish Chamber for presenting an excellent agenda and also congratulate the Swedish Chamber on its 50 year anniversary. The agenda for JCC has also been of highest quality. During the year we have enjoyed presentations from SAS, Svenska Handelsbanken and latest from Guardian Wealth Management. The presentations have been a mix of business and pleasure where interactive presentations have been followed by continued conversations in the bar. JCC is proud to have a wide range of businesses in different industries presenting their companies. Are you a member and have a specific company that you want to know more about or are you an employee or entrepreneur that wants to give a presentation of your company? Please feel welcome to contact JCC for further information. Adam Larsson |
