| Crayfish Party!, September 4 |

The Swedish Crayfish Party on Saturday the 4th of September was a great success! Over a hundred guests, both Dutch and Swedish, arrived at the Roei & Zeilvereniging de Amstel. As the weather had decided to co-operate and the sun was shining, welcome drinks were served on the terrace overlooking the canal. The guests were served a traditional cheese pie as a starter followed by Swedish hardbread with cheese and last but not the least, the crayfish! During the dinner toastmaster Tobias Johansson made a great job encouraging everybody to sing Swedish and Dutch schnapps-songs together, solo or as a team everything was possible. . After dinner Daisy Bell played inspiring dance music from the 80 and 90 and the dance floor was crowded. Swe-Cham would like to thank Inter IKEA Systems B.V. for their great support and also Svenska Klubben for the nice co-operation in organising this event! | | |  |

Saturday June 19 we celebrate midsummer in the Swedish Church's wonderful garden. We are showing Crown Princess Victoria's wedding on the big screen inside the church. The evening ends with a wonderful concert, A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed by a large choir. | | |

The board of the Finnish Dutch Trade Guild together with the ladies and gentlemen of Rokade Advies B.V. hereby invite you for the traditional FDTG Herring Party. This year our annual Herring Party will again be sponsored and hosted by our member Rokade Advies in Rotterdam for which we are very grateful. You will find the office from Rokade at the Maaskade 159A in Rotterdam and you are welcome from 17.00 hours to enjoy the first herring of this year while watching the skyline of Rotterdam!

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce was very honoured to welcome Mr. Victor Muller, CEO Spyker Cars as Key-Note speaker on the last Master Class Luncheon of the season on June 7. The Luncheon was held at the magnificent InterContinetal Amstel, Amsterdam. Almost 90 Swe-Cham members, FDTG and DDBC members and their guests listened to an outstanding presentation by Mr. Muller about the exiting Saab-Spyker deal. Mr. Mullers inspiring presentation led to interesting questions and discussions among the enthusiastic audience. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Mr. Muller for his time and excellent speech and InterContiental Amstel for support and excellent lunch. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce also would like to thank all members for this seasons Master Class Luncheons. The autumn season Master Class Luncheons will start September 28, 2010 with Mr. Mikael Ohlsson, CEO IKEA. Welcome!!
