| Crayfish Party!, September 4 |
September 4, 2010
The Swedish Crayfish Party on Saturday the 4th of September was a great success! Over a hundred guests, both Dutch and Swedish, arrived at the Roei & Zeilvereniging de Amstel. As the weather had decided to co-operate and the sun was shining, welcome drinks were served on the terrace overlooking the canal. The guests were served a traditional cheese pie as a starter followed by Swedish hardbread with cheese and last but not the least, the crayfish! During the dinner toastmaster Tobias Johansson made a great job encouraging everybody to sing Swedish and Dutch schnapps-songs together, solo or as a team everything was possible. . After dinner Daisy Bell played inspiring dance music from the 80 and 90 and the dance floor was crowded. Swe-Cham would like to thank Inter IKEA Systems B.V. for their great support and also Svenska Klubben for the nice co-operation in organising this event! | | |  |

| JCC Midsummer Picnic & BBQ!, June 12 |
 On June 12, more than 60 JCC members and guests celebrated the Swedish tradition Midsummer in Sarphatipark, Amsterdam. The program involved traditional dancing around the Midsummer tree, “Kubb” tournament and BBQ in a fantastic atmosphere!
This was the perfect end of a successful JCC season and the JCC Committee thanks all members and guests for a great spring! We are looking forward to see you all again in September when a new exciting season begins!

| After Work - Guardian Wealth Management, May 6 |
 On May 6 the members of JCC and several new guests had the chance to listen to a very interesting Company Presentation by Simon Parfitt from Guardian Wealth Management. The subject of the presentation was financial planning for international workers and the information and feedback that was given was very well appreciated among the guests. The presentation was held in the great atmosphere at Crowne Plaza City Centre and before and after the presentation the guests had the time to mingle in the nice hotel bar. It was a very nice and well attended event with many old but also many new JCC members! It was again a great opportunity to build relations both socially and commercially. | | | | |

On May 25 Mr. Torsten Jansson, CEO New Wave Group visited The Swedish Chamber of Commerce to address the members and their guests. Mr. Torsten Jansson held an outstanding and inspiring presentation with the title “Creating something new as a business man - The journey from DINGLE to SHANGHAI and NEW YORK with a short stop at Småland’s luxury hotel in KOSTA!”. The presentation was followed by interactive discussions among the guests commented by Mr. Jansson. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce was very pleased to welcome about 40 Swe-Cham and JCC members and their guests and would like to thank Mr. Torsten Jansson for his brilliant presentation.
