What do you miss the most with Amsterdam? Carin: Everything! I want to move back. Yasmin: The beautiful language and the fun people. Niklas: Friends, lifestyle, the atmosphere in the city. If you should make a comparison Stockholm vs. Amsterdam? In Amsterdam it is always crowded at the restaurants. Everyone looks different in Amsterdam while in Sweden everyone looks the same. People in Amsterdam have their own style. It’s cheaper in Amsterdam and all the water in town is of course favourably. It’s also easier to make a carrier in Holland than in Sweden. It is much more multicultural in Amsterdam than in Stockholm and that is of course good. How did you like the Dutch food? N & C: It is very creative and they have really good snacks in all the bars and restaurants. Yasmin: I miss the poffertjes. What would you say to an Intern preparing for an internship at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam? Niklas: You will never regret it. Yasmin: Work on your network as much as you can because it might help you in the future. Carin: The good opportunities are there you just have to be initiative and make something out of it.
